Energy Medicine, Breathwork & Embodiment Practices
Practices that work below the level of talk
Some of this work isn’t therapy in the usual sense. It is direct practice with breath, touch and attention — on its own, or woven through counselling.
What’s offered
Therapeutic Touch — a gentle, non-invasive practice working with the body’s energy field to support settling and repair. Trained through Levels 1, 2 and 3.
Conscious Connected Breathwork — sustained, structured breathing that can release held emotional material without needing to explain or narrate it. Trained through Levels 1 and 2.
Embodiment practice — the ongoing skill of attending to sensation, image, gesture and rhythm, so the body’s intelligence becomes something you can consult rather than something that ambushes you.
Paying mindful attention to the wisdom of the body naturally facilitates the very healing we are seeking.
These can be a whole path or one part of a wider therapeutic process. Some people come only for this. Others move between it and talking work as the season asks.
A note on psychedelics
Sarah is trained through TheraPsil in psilocybin-assisted therapy for end-of-life distress, and offers integration support — the work of making sense of an experience afterwards and letting it settle into a life.
Integration support is available to people who have had such experiences, including spiritually transformative ones that arrived unbidden. Nothing here involves providing or administering any substance.
