Living with a Life-Limiting Illness
For the person facing it, and the people beside them
This is different work, and it moves differently. If time is short, call directly — 250-213-9993.
Who this is for
People living with a diagnosis that has changed the shape of the future, and who want somewhere to put the fear, the anger, the unfinished business, or the questions that don’t have anywhere else to go.
Family members and partners — often the person doing the searching. Anticipatory grief is real grief, and caring for someone dying is its own kind of exhaustion.
People carrying a grief that has already happened and hasn’t settled.
Sarah’s own life has been shaped by the liminal space between living and dying: she cared for a medically complex child for many years. This is not unfamiliar territory.
